Joyfriend And Klypi join forces to release music collaboration for their single, “Thembo Fairy”. The intensely creative love-child born from the two artists, creates an exciting and reminiscent mix of Pop & Electronic Post-Punk. Joyfriend creates Queer-Pop tunes, inspired by underground club scenes and classic 80's genres. Originally from Oakland, CA and now in Los Angeles, they have played in various bands for the past decade. Klypi is a DIY Pop artist from the South, whose musical influence derives from 80’s Synth Pop and early y2k Industrial. They write songs about lovelessness and heartbreak as they have never experienced true love. As an elf, they question ideas of what gender is and can be, hoping to expand our language beyond boy & girl. Los Angeles based and Baltimore-raised modern Pop-meets-vintage-Psychedelia artist mazie releases her latest single, “people don't change" - although she wrote the tune several years ago, when matched with the right hook from her producer Elie Rizk the song pieced together in just one day. When speaking about the song mazie shares, “Relationships and friendships are all about figuring out if you can co-exist within each other's flaws. By letting someone into your life, you are acknowledging that they are who they are for better or for worse — and you should be so precious about choosing who is in your life for that very reason. mazie is currently on tour [dates below]!
