I started using poetry as my predominant form of self expression and preferred method of therapy when I was in High School. It’s the easiest way for me to work through the things in my head and heart. I hope that what I write can do the same for others. Most of my writing deals with love, the overwhelming bliss of falling into it, and the difficulty in picking up the pieces once it's gone. My wish is for the things I write to reach others. I hope for it to comfort the hard truths we face - recognize that the sharp emotions we feel are felt by us all. You are not alone, what you feel, I feel." IG: abigail_lauren6 |
