Zoot
Use your body as a way to
Pledge solidarity  Conflict and contestation
Of the  Invisible Man  Depicted as un-American
See me
Hear me
Forget me
Here I am
The politics of refusal
Colored nights and  Municipal pools
A big-haired whore
Of the rhetoric on war  Stripped dignity
See me
Hear me
Forget me
Here I am

Off Da Wall
I feel my eyes drying
The glass shards peek out
My stomach spilling
You gaze at me through the mirror
Ninety lips spitting
I can’t help by stare
Dirty fingers gripping
Think of rot
Allow you to feel the numbing
Bugs crawl slowly
Me swallowing
It all feels real
Life ensuing

Cherry Tobako
No color in the sky tonight
Dog growling-stomach
Hungry hungry hungry
Cough up red syrup
Before an evening with you
Pure carbon
Possess me
Tar lungs two dimensional
Burnt into future offspring
Life sentence
I never asked for it
All I see is smoke
A million voids stare back
