Quemarlo Todo Por Error is a Colombian (more specific, Bogotá) band that play's something between mathrock emo, pop and stuff.
The band began in August of 2016 when San (vocals) uploaded an acoustic EP he wrote to YouTube after moving back to Bogotá from Argentina. Later someone invited him to play in the last show of a local band called Isla Tortuga. San talked with Juanpa (lead guitarist) about starting a band. They've been friends since high school and played together in a band. David (drums) met San while studying filmmaking in college. Later he also met Juanpa through him. Then Juanpa and San talked with David regarding the band and he also agreed even though he never played the drums (or has been in a band) before. They composed two more songs besides the ones on the EP. Three weeks later the show went thorugh and Quemarlo Todo Por Error was born. Since San and Juanpa were only playing guitar, the songs sounded incomplete. Juanpa's guitar had a seventh string so he played the bass sometimes, but it sounded like it was missing something, so they posted an status on Facebook asking if someone wanted to play the bass with them; that's how they met Juanfe (bassist). The day Juanfe went to his first practice, the band was playing an acoustic show, actually for a playing together for the first time they were pretty good, even though he didn't know the songs it still felt like a very organic connection. He also has this homemade studio in his bedroom where the band has recorded a double single. |
