With a desire to push the boundaries of popular music and leave a positive impact on everyone that listens, Blake Imperl (vocals/guitar), Brett Kelly (bass), Colin Croft (drums) will have you reminiscing about the times when life was simple and care-free. Gigging all around Southern California and Mexico, Stray Monroe’s live performances have led to security believing they were “inciting a riot”.
Blurring the lines between pop and indie rock, San Diego’s Stray Monroe pride themselves on their high energy and humble nature, taking influence from the likes of The Strokes, Oasis and Mac Demarco. Although the San Diego music scene is a heavily surf rock influenced, the trio have more of an indie sound and say they “don’t care what anyone else thinks!”
