"Inconvenient" is a brand new Neo-Soul release from 21 year old Emy Kabore hailing from Ghent, Belgium. EMY's voice carries the song through twinkle-y guitars, mesmerizing synth-breaks and booming bass riffs. Emy's unique voice pairs extremely well alongside her band who back her name. 'Inconvenient' is an impressive piece of contemporary Indie-Soul, produced by guitarist Brian Bogaert and Mathias Stal, and mixed by Tobie Speleman.
The song was written to express the constant contradicting emotions and thoughts that originate while exploring love and intimacy. Confronted with the inevitable force of desire, EMY finds herself wandering in the never ending maze of the psyche where idealization, desillusion and confusion are repeatedly taking turns.
