"This is unusual for me to share because it makes me feel uneasy, but I'm more than happy to be part of this issue of Pinstriped Zine. These series of drawings are only a few of my most well-hidden ones, usually found in sketchbooks I have amongst books. It's not that I'm afraid that someone might see them, I'm scared to run into them; I bury them so deep.  This set, upon sending, will have been curated by you, the editor, but I admit that I am only able to share the most shallow ones, because in the lack of abstraction of the ones I chose I find my spur of the moments in human connection; I am more understood in this way, I believe. I think my art is very selfish too, which I love but another reason why I don't share most of it. This is a small annunciation of something that makes me immensely happy, but that holds even more un-showable drawings, which are only to be shared emotionally. I make art, and I then face the world, so, in a way, I am constantly sharing my art, anyways, through feeling, and my (hopefully) good mood."
