"I'm Marxoxo, a part-time glitter-pop songwriter/producer and full time queer millennial from the Bay Area of California. Recently I put out an EP, Velvet, that goes through my experience the past two years of dating in the LGBTQ+ community in a generation that has become disillusioned and cynical of Western romanticism. Sonically, Britney Spears, The Cure, Tinashe, and anime soundtracks are some of my major influences. Right now I'm working on curating a compilation album coming out sometime later this year that highlights international LGBTQ+ artists like Dynastic, Saintraja, Chrisisbasic, and Braz_OS especially since maintaining solidarity is super important in today's sociopolitical climate! xoxo"
