"My name is Kayla Fernandez. I am a 17 year old photographer based out of Los Angeles, California. My love for photography started about a year ago when I found myself scrolling through concert photographer's Instagrams. The idea of capturing the perfect moment or that one shot that blows everyone away keeps me going and gives me the desire to push my limits and exceed them. Through my work, I want to create an aura of dreaminess with soft yet vivid visuals that incite a feeling of dreams entering reality. While I am still developing my style, I'm eager to venture out of digital photography and into film. My biggest inspirations are Mick Rock, the iconic 70s photographer, and Petra Collins, who is young well-known film photographer. Music is another huge passion of mine, and consequently, songs and artists have a massive impact on how I want to create new concepts."
