Jurors started as a bedroom project under a different name in 2015. They recorded their first EP, "Shadows at Night" in November 2015 and released it June 2, 2016 with no intention of ever playing it live, until a few months after. Isaac Aquino, lead singer/guitarist, asked cousin Ruben Pasos to lend him his bass expertise whilst pursuing the talents of Javier Valdez (lead guitar) and Jean Nolasco (drums). A year later, they played their first show at Not-So Bummer Summer IV with new songs, released as demos on their Bandcamp.
Jurors seek to pay homage to the post-punk/art rock bands of the late '70s/80s, while bringing modern influences from this current time. for fans of New Order, Bauhaus, DNA, Gang of Four, Corners, Froth, The Cure and Joy Division. |
