JUPES started as a one-woman solo act creating music from the comfort of her bedroom. Nothing much has changed as she continues to grow within herself, and her art. Determined to flip the script on a typically male dominated industry, JUPES is the sole producer, mixer, and vocalist on all her tracks. Refusing to conform to a certain genre allows her to change as she sees fit, and experiment beyond boundaries. Her first mixtape Retrograde was a giant leap outside her comfort zone, becoming intimate and personal with the listener, showing pieces of herself she normally tries to keep hidden within herself. After a mental health hiatus, JUPES is finally back in the comfort of her studio, hoping to continue a rate of success that will open doors for others as well.
