Joanne, 21, is a visual artist and designer based in Columbus, OH. Southwest sprouted and Midwest grown, she studies Industrial Design and Sustainability in order to effect change within the contemptible consumer culture in which we reside. Despite her design and environmental focuses within the realm of academia, she continues to pursue her lifelong dedication to photography to illuminate social injustice and oppression, the beauty of the pregnant moment, the ambiguity of self-prescribed definitions, and the ephemerality of all things.
