"I'm a visual artist from Los Angeles. My current work surrounds my relationship to LA and the melancholic memories the city evokes. My pieces are made with the process of meditation in mind. If I’m painting from an experience that was painful, I try to understand why I responded that way and how I’ve internalized that experience. If I’m meditating on a moment of awe, I use the process of making artwork to hold onto what I loved about that memory."
