Lucía Ximena uses photography and film to create imagery for dreams, stories and outcast character. Hoping their work makes those who feel out of place or don’t belong to this world can be connected. She was born to a family of artists in Ecuador, so exposure to art in various forms was a big part of her upbringing. She’s currently studying at CalArts getting a BFA. Being fairly introverted, she takes advantage of this visual way of communication. It allows for expression without speaking out loud.
