"I started doing photography in Greece in 2013, it was the first time I went to Athens. Back in the day I didn’t have any notion of photography neither materials. My friend Pablo Dury gave me his analog camera a Nikon F2, and since then I have been shooting only with this camera. My passion of photography came with the love I had for this object. Since that I've been documenting every where I go to and every face who crosses my path. That helps me to fix memories within time, and recover the failure of my direct memory." About this series: "These pictures were produced in 2014 in Melbourne’s inner North-side. They are a footprint of our communal memory of those times and places. In Melbourne, everything changes so fast, yet stays the same. I wanted to crystalize that time. I no longer live there – I am an outsider, but those people make Melbourne feel like home every time I return." IG: @j_s_calabrese juliecalabrese.com julie.calabrese2@gmail.com
