Meg Ann

"I am a film photographer currently living in Portland, Oregon. I have been very attached to shooting film for about 10 years, recently feeling like I’ve found myself in my art. I have fallen in love with meeting new people and having the opportunity to get to know them and create art that feels meaningful. I want to capture images that have a story behind them. To immerse other people in my art, make them think and spark an emotion inside. 

This particular shoot became an entire experience watching life interact with my concept. An idea I’ve had for years, bringing a living room to nature. The juxtaposition, hoping to make people think about how we spend our time, what we choose to sit and look at. Art and beauty is in the world all around us. I hope to leave my living room as much as possible this next year to sit in awe and capture what Mother Nature has put in front of me, in human, land and sea."
