Plaisir consists of Camille Haimet (FR/USA), Carla Cixi (IT) and KC Dahlehan (SE). The three members met in the crowd of a sweaty concert in 2019 and after realizing they shared the same influences (MBV, The Cure, Deux) and general passion for making music, they felt they had no choice than to begin writing songs together. Their ”cold-gaze” sound could be described as a blend of the dreamy fuzz of Shoegaze and the stripped down, Lo-fi aesthetic of Coldwave. The band seeks to create darkly seductive soundscapes infused with gentle spoken word and surrealistic melodies in English and French. Following the release of their debut EP ”Sap” late last year, the Berlin-based post punk trio Plaisir is ready to present the first single from their upcoming album. ”Maslo z Sola” can be described as a seductive repetitive buildup to a smooth climax, made with fuzzy guitars, steady bass and dreamy vocals. A hopeful song about agony. A soundtrack to your own movie. Released February 26th, 2021. The upcoming LP will be a genre-rich, experimental and playful concept album, aimed to be released in the fall of 2021.
