"I’m 23-year-old artist and photographer from Nashville, Tennessee. I’ve spent the past 4 years living in Miami and studying biology. After graduating, I decided the STEM world just wasn’t for me and started working towards actually doing something with my art.

Originally, I had started taking photos of an ex-boyfriend’s band and their friends for extra money. Eventually it evolved into the main medium I work with to create as an artist. Most of my work is very moody in appearance. It’s a direct expression of my personal introspective reflections. I stopped using color around a year ago, because I felt like it was too distracting from the subjects of my images. For some reason color no longer spoke to me, it seemed unnecessary. I want the focus to be on the content of the image, not the color.
Over quarantine I started using my art to visualize my emotions. Self portraits became the focus of my work, since I couldn’t go out and be around other people. This forced me to get creative because after a while I started to get bored with my appearance. I began taking a more surrealist approach, using distorted mirrors and long exposure to alter the reality of my images."
